Previously the Club has attended this event but this time we want to make a real effort to maximize the display.Why not make this a weekend outing, to stay on into the evening with live music and join the Oxford Bus Museum “Vintage Vehicle Festival” on Sunday. (There is a local Premier Inn for an economic overnight stay). we have been invited to the 9th Classics at the Castle. Set in 260 acres of magnificent parkland with the show taking place in front of the castle itself.

At this show we have our own club area to display our cars.Passion for Power, Tatton Park Vintage and Classic Car show. One of the UK’s most popular Classic Car events with over 90 Classic and performance car Clubs attending and over 300 private entries. A full weekend event, hosted by our previous Northern Secretary Alan and his wife Diane.This is a very popular event for all our South Lancashire and Cheshire Members.just take cover in the world’s largest single-span glasshouse (100m by 60m).We have been invited to park in the central courtyard.To drive up the hill complete an entry form on (which has more info and photos). Post war cars are allowed to climb provided they have "flowing wings"- so TA14's and 3 litre TA'- TC's are allowed into "Alvis Avenue" and on up! It’s informal untimed friendly fun in first rate facilities raising funds for the Royal Air Force Charitable Trust. Cadwell Park race circuit is situated on A153 between Louth & Horncastle, Lincolnshire. Parking will be arranged for AOC members (and other Alvis owners) as on previous years within the reserved Classic Car area, which will be properly signed from the entrance.This year, once again, the long-range weather forecast is brilliant for that area on that day!Please come and support us to enjoy a fun day out with entertainment starting at 12noon and continuing through long into the evening.Apart from the terrific display of all types of vintage and classic cars there will be commercial Vehicles as well.This will be free of charge, but we shall need to arrive in a guided convoy; further detail will follow but it would help us if you would let us know as soon as possible if you plan to come.Pre War Prescott (Hillclimb) near Cheltenham is open to all spectators for £25 per car.
